Let’s have a detail look at the new 2017 version of Tuono which has been spied in India as launch is just weeks away.
Let’s begin with the engine, Tuono 1100 Factory SuperPole uses a 65° V4, four-stroke, liquid cooled, DOHC, 16 valves. Ride-By-Wire with three engine maps such as the Sport, Race and Track are on offer to tame the machine and suit your needs.
With a displacement of 1077cc, Bore x stroke of 81 x 52.3mm that ends up producing horsepower of 172 hp @ 11,000 RPM and torque of 120 Nm @ 9000 RPM which takes help of the transmission that is a six-speed gearbox which comes with comes equipped with a quickshifter is on offer.
Chassis wise we see the Aluminum composite twin spar frame with Front suspension (RR model) that is a 43 mm fully adjustable Sachs inverted forks which offers 110 mm wheel travel. The rear suspension (RR model) is a Fully adjustable Sachs Balance Free shock with a 120 mm wheel travel.
Factory model on the other hand gets 43 mm fully adjustable Öhlins NIX30 inverted forks and 130 mm travel and rear gets a Öhlins STX46 fully adjustable rear shock with a 130 mm wheel travel.
Tuono 1100 Factory SuperPole front brakes are Dual Brembo M50 four-piston calipers, 330mm discs and a rear brake is a Brembo twin-piston caliper. 220mm diameter disc, which has ABS as standard. Front tire stands at a 120/70ZR17 meanwhile the rear tire: 190/55 ZR17 and 200/55ZR17 for Factory model.
A low 1450 mm of wheelbase, 825 mm seat height and 18 litres of fuel tank on offer, the Tuono 1100 Factory SuperPole continues to be quite practical for the road. With just 209 kgs of wet weight, the motorcycle offers a lot of power to weight ratio on the table for its fans and customers.
