2019 Pulsar ABS Equipped Entire Range will come into the market to meet safety norms but launch and deliveries are said to be delayed to March 2019

Bajaj is gearing up to launch ABS across the whole Pulsar range which includes the 150, 180, 180F and 220F models. It is expected to be introduced in the Indian market somewhere around March 2019. All bikes will get belly pan fairing on the bikes and will be offered in neon color schemes and other changes will follow with an official statement. Prices for Avenger 220 and Pulsar 220 that we reported earlier continue to exist. But multiple dealers suggest that the deliveries will begin only after March 2019.

Mechanically there won’t be any changes and Pulsar 150, 180/180F and 220F models and it will be powered with their same engines. We can also expect Bajaj to update their powertrain across the Pulsar range to meet the new BS-VI emission norms which may soon come into action, but not before 2020. With the introduction of the dual channel ABS unit, the safety will surely increase but we will also see a steep increase in terms of pricing. We expect Bajaj to increase the prices across the Pulsar range by Rs 7,000 in comparison with the current ongoing model.
