Maruti Suzuki is also set to introduce a new midsize SUV that will slot between the Brezza and the Grand Vitara. Rumored to be named the ‘Maruti Escudo’, this SUV will compete with popular models like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Honda Elevate. Notably, the Escudo is expected to share design elements, interior layout, features, and powertrains with the Grand Vitara. However, it will only be available through Arena dealerships, potentially indicating a more budget-friendly price.
Originally envisioned as a 7-seater version of the Grand Vitara, recent reports now suggest that the Escudo will be a 5-seater SUV built on the Global C platform.
