Production Ready All New Gen 2023 KTM Duke 390 Spied

KTM’s success story in the world of motorcycles has an important contribution from the Duke 390 which was initially launched in the year 2012. Buoyed by its success, KTM launched next-generation Duke 390 in 2017 which came equipped with more equipment and much different character. 2023 KTM Duke 390 is clearly going to set the bar even higher.

Now according to the latest developments, the company is reportedly working to bring the 2023 Duke 390 to India as testing begins. Earlier they were only spied outside of India. Today the production-ready motorcycle seems to be out doing its final runs before launch happens around December 2022 or early 2023.

As evident from the images, the 2023 Duke 390 has grown in size and features a more muscular stance. The frontage of the bike wears a familiar LED headlamp and USD front forks; however, it is a profile view that reveals the new chassis underpinning the new model. The instrument cluster remains similar to the outgoing model although the rear designed tail lamps feel bigger. The electronics package will include a quick shifter, traction control, cornering ABS, and more.

A close look at the engine reveals minor yet significant changes carried out by KTM on the exhaust and cylinder head; thereby implying that the engine has been tweaked to either improve the performance or fuel efficiency. Changes in the exhaust signify that the bike is ready to meet future emission norms in India. What we can expect is more power and torque from the already impressive motor. Close to 50 horsepower and 45 nm of torque can be expected.

Besides all these changes, word has it that the new 2023 KTM Duke 390 will feature an improved suspension and braking system. The chassis system has been revised entirely with this new model and it has gone the 2019 Ducati Monster way of doing so. The bike is expected to make its debut at the global EICMA show in November 2022. Just so you know, KTM is also readying to launch many other products based on the KTM Duke 390 platform of the present and past.
