The most accurate and up-to-date information on what’s currently on sale. Here’s a breakdown of the differences between the Yamaha FZ series motorcycle versions currently available in India.

All FZ series bikes generally share a common platform, including a 149cc, air-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 2-valve, fuel-injected (FI) engine. This engine typically produces around 12.4 PS of power and 13.3 Nm of torque, mated to a 5-speed gearbox. They also largely feature a single-channel ABS, disc brakes at both ends, and a telescopic front fork with a 7-step adjustable monocross rear suspension.

The key differences lie in their features, styling, and technological additions.

1. Yamaha FZ-Fi This is the most basic and entry-level model in the FZ series.

Key Features:
149cc FI engine.
LED Headlight (newer versions).
Two-level seat for comfortable riding.
Negative LCD instrument cluster (digital speedometer, bar-style tachometer, fuel gauge, odometer, trip meters, clock, ECO indicator).
Single-channel ABS.
Side stand engine cut-off switch.
E20 fuel compatible (newer versions).
Connectivity: Generally, it does not come with Y-Connect Bluetooth connectivity as standard, though it might be available as an accessory.

Higher Ground Clearance & Seating Position: Typically has a slightly taller stance for a more commanding riding position.
Power Socket: Often includes a power socket for charging devices on the go.
