Renault has been seen testing the Triber facelift in Chennai, India. Earlier, we had glimpses of the MPV’s test mules, but this time, the design details are coming to light.
The facelifted Triber will showcase a revamped front end, including a new bumper design. The grille is set to feature wraparound headlights along with integrated LED daytime running lights. Notably, hexagonal air intakes with round fog lamps can also be seen. Updates to the tail lights are likely as well.
Inside, we can expect some feature enhancements akin to what we saw with the Nissan Magnite facelift. There may be lighter color options, design modifications, and the introduction of soft-touch materials. Renault plans to retain the popular 7-seat configuration for this MPV.
Under the hood, the revamped Triber will continue to use the existing 1.0-litre naturally aspirated 3-cylinder engine, delivering 71 HP and 96 Nm of torque. Buyers will have the choice of a 5-speed manual transmission or a 5-speed AMT.
Interestingly, Renault is anticipated to offer a CNG kit with the Triber, which could make it a more appealing choice compared to competitors like the Maruti Ertiga.
