On checking out the new 2025 Kawasaki motorcycles launched in India recently at dealerships we saw they are still E5 and E10 compliant. These bikes will run well on current E12-14 fuel that is available on sale in India. However, the 2026 Kawasaki E20 motorcycles will come August onwards as production is set to begin around that time confirm multiple sources within Kawasaki. The E20 motorcycle will probably be tuned to make different specification of horsepower and torque over the current BS6 bikes that are on sale. The E20 OBD-2 motorcycles from Kawasaki will help the brand future ready for more launches with engines being compliant to new emission norms.
The first 2026 Kawasaki E20 launch probably is set to be the Kawasaki Z900. There are talks of a Z1100 as well which could come by 2027 in India and next year, in 2026, globally. Kawasaki has been slightly delayed in launching its bikes being compliant any regulations that are being set by the Indian Government since 2017. Expect the Ninja 300 and 500 to be compliant soon. The 650 range and upcoming and existing 1100 range should follow. All launches will be happen in phases till January 2026. Kawasaki has big plans to revise is ageing 500/650 platform in the coming years as well.
