Mahindra is on an exciting roll lately, putting several new models through their paces on the roads! Among them are the revamped 3-door Mahindra Thar facelift, the highly anticipated production-spec Mahindra BE Rall-E, what insiders believe is the new-gen Mahindra Bolero, and now, the eye-catching Mahindra XUV700 facelift! Launched back in 2021, this model is gearing up for its first facelift, likely debuting by 2026. Let’s dive into some of the thrilling features of the spotted test mule!

This camouflaged beauty of the XUV700 facelift showcases an impressive new triple-display setup on the dashboard. Recently seen in the Mahindra XEV 9e, each display spans 12.3 inches and serves infotainment, the instrument cluster, and co-passenger entertainment. And guess what? Those keen eyes might have also noticed snazzy beige seats, hinting that the stylish dual-tone black and beige upholstery from the current XUV700 is here to stay!

Looking at the exterior, the circular headlights on this test mule seem to be temporary borrowed from the Thar Roxx, which suggests that the production model may surprise us with a fresh look! We also expect a redesign in the front grille and bumper, as hinted by those tantalizing spy shots.

Interestingly, the side and rear profiles appear unchanged at first glance, maintaining the same striking alloy wheel design, flush-type door handles, and taillights as the current XUV700.

But here’s where it gets even more exciting! The XUV700 facelift could come loaded with new features like rear ventilated seats for extra comfort and an added wireless phone charger, similar to the BE 6 and XEV 9e. Of course, it will carry all those fantastic features we love in the current model, including wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a panoramic sunroof, a 6-way powered driver’s seat with memory function, ventilated seats, dual-zone auto AC, and a powerful 12-speaker Sony sound system.

Safety enthusiasts will be thrilled to know that the facelift will keep all the existing safety features intact! That means 7 airbags (6 as standard), auto headlamps, electronic stability control (ESC), a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), an electronic parking brake, ISOFIX child seat anchorages, a 360-degree camera, and an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS).

Expect Mahindra to stick with the same stellar engine and transmission options found in the existing XUV700 for this facelift!

Currently priced between Rs 19.64 lakh to Rs 25.14 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India), the facelifted version might come with a slight price bump. Still, it’s set to compete fiercely against the Hyundai Alcazar, MG Hector Plus, Tata Safari, and its sibling, the Mahindra Scorpio N. The anticipation is palpable—stay tuned for more updates!
