A fully wrapped 2026 Maruti Brezza has been spotted testing on the roads of India. News suggests that this model will feature an underbody CNG tank, making it the second Maruti vehicle to adopt this setup after the Victoris. We did hear a few weeks back the Brezza production is about to change too. The launch isn’t far away, it seems!
In addition, the 2026 Brezza is expected to come equipped with a Level 2 ADAS suite and various safety enhancements. Some noticeable details include new black alloy wheels and a shark-fin antenna, while the overall shape appears to remain largely unchanged. A CNG sticker can also be seen on the rear windshield.
On the mechanical side, the new Brezza will likely get the new 1.0l or 1.2l turbo petrol and retain the current range of powertrains. This includes the familiar 1.5L K15C engine, delivering 102bhp and 137Nm for petrol, and 87bhp and 121.5Nm for CNG. The petrol variant will be available with either a 6 speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission, while the CNG model could still get the feature a 5-speed manual option. All these options will give more options consumers to choose from! The new Hyundai Venue that has come is expensive and is set to be pushed back by Brezza’s push back from all sides through its powertrain options. 1.2l engine will drastically reduce the price of the Brezza and help it take over the market where the competition is now stiffer from Tata and Mahindra. The Brezza new avatar and CNG with 80% of boot space retained will be a game changer.
