India Kawasaki Motors Pvt. Ltd. (IKM) is thrilled to announce the launch of the New
MY26 Ninja 300, the newest iteration of one of the most iconic entry-level sport
motorcycles in India. The MY26 update enhances its sportbike credentials with a larger
windshield, a new projector headlight inspired by the Ninja ZX-6R, and revised tyre
patterns for improved on-road stability.
Over the years, the Ninja brand has grown into a complete family of performance
machines, catering to every rider’s dream — from lightweight super sports like the
Ninja 250R and Ninja 300 to track-dominating hypersport like the Ninja ZX-10R and
Ninja H2. Each model proudly carries forward the spirit of performance, innovation,
and aggressive styling that defines the Ninja name.
Launched globally in 2012 and introduced in India soon after, the Ninja 300 set a
new benchmark in the 300cc segment with its twin-cylinder engine, race-inspired
styling, and refined ride quality. It offered everyday usability blended with Kawasaki’s
motorsport DNA. The MY26 Ninja 300 update continues this evolution for a new
generation of riders.
The Ninja 300 reflects the iconic “mass-forward, minimalist-tail” design theme,
showcasing unmistakable Ninja styling. Key elements like aluminum footpegs, sharp
fairings, floating windscreen, projector headlamps and a multi-function instrument
panel give it the look and feel of a much bigger machine, staying true to its performance
heritage.
Mr. Yutaka Yamashita, Managing Director of India Kawasaki Motors Pvt. Ltd.,
stated:
“For more than four decades, the Ninja name has stood for Kawasaki’s
relentless pursuit of performance, innovation, and rider excitement. From
racetrack-bred super sports to versatile sport-tourers, the Ninja family has continually
evolved while staying true to its sporting DNA—offering riders machines that are as
thrilling as they are accessible.
Marking the 42nd anniversary of this iconic series, the legacy began in 1984
with the Ninja 900(GPz900R)—a motorcycle that set new benchmarks and established
Kawasaki as a global leader in sport motorcycles. Over the years, the Ninja lineup has
grown into a complete family, from lightweight super sports like the Ninja 250R and
Ninja 300 to track-focused hypersport such as the Ninja ZX-10R and Ninja H2, catering
to every rider’s dream and riding style.
Launched globally in 2012 and introduced in India soon after, the Ninja 300
redefined the 300cc segment with its twin-cylinder engine, race-inspired styling,
and refined ride quality. It delivers a perfect balance of everyday usability and
exhilarating performance, allowing riders to enjoy city streets, highways, or spirited
weekend rides with confidence and comfort. The MY26 Ninja 300 update continues
this evolution, offering a premium riding experience tailored for the next generation of
Ninja enthusiasts.
