For the first time, the GS Experience Level 1 and Level 2 modules offer simultaneous training on separate tracks for 20 Smart CC (310 GS) riders and 20 Core (650 CC and above) GS riders. The Level 1 training assists riders to understand and master basics of off-road riding. The module includes basic familiarity of the motorcycle, understanding of correct rider position, enduro steering and other exercises such as off-road riding, emergency stops on slope, emergency braking and riding on inclines. Riders automatically qualify for level 2 training upon successful completion of level 1.

The GS Experience Level 2 Training Program is designed to enhance off-road riding skills for advanced riders, focusing on challenging terrains and scenarios. A key element is mastering the correct riding position, crucial for maintaining balance and control, especially when maneuvering through varied surfaces like sand, gravel, and slush. Riders will be introduced to Enduro Pro mode, which optimizes the motorcycle’s dynamics for off-road conditions by adjusting ABS, traction control, and power delivery, ideal for managing emergency braking and navigating tricky landscapes. Enduro steering techniques, such as Figure of 8 exercises, help improve tight cornering and control in confined spaces. Participants will also practice riding off-camber, tackling uneven slopes with precision, as well as managing uphill and downhill riding on long, steep terrains. Riding in sand and gravel requires a balance of throttle control and body positioning, which is refined during these sessions. Techniques for quick U-turns and motorcycle recovery on slopes ensure riders are prepared for unexpected situations in real-world off-road environments, boosting their confidence and skill level.

The GS Experience showcases the dynamic qualities of each GS model in real-world conditions and techniques to enjoy the Spirit of GS while ensuring highest safety. Each session includes a briefing and demonstration by BMW Motorrad IIA (BMW Motorrad International Instructor Academy) certified trainers, that will take riders through the impressive array of technologies available on the GS range of motorcycles. The sessions offer riding experience on a combination of bitumen and off-road under expert supervision.
