All Electric Mercedes-Benz CLA Launched

India’s most desirable luxury car maker Mercedes-Benz today, redefined the luxury BEV
segment by launching the all-new CLA BEV, the company’s first, next generation vehicle based on
Mercedes Modular Architecture (MMA) in India, continuing the brand’s product fireworks in 2026. The
CLA BEV has been launched in three variants: a distinctive top-end CLA ‘Launch Edition’, a ‘Long
Range’ CLA 250+ and a ‘Standard Range’ CLA 200, catering to diverse customer requirements.

The top-end ‘Launch Edition’ boasts of feature enhancements and sports distinctive visual enhancements,
making the ‘Edition’ highly attractive. Conceived as a born-electric luxury sedan from the ground up,
the CLA BEV is built on the all-new MMA platform and powered by MB.OS, Mercedes-Benz’s
proprietary operating system, making it the most technologically advanced electric Mercedes-Benz
yet, for Indian customers.

The CLA BEV is designed for a new generation of luxury customers who are technology savvy,
expressive and expects their vehicles to reflect their persona. Younger and highly design-conscious,
these buyers are increasingly choosing their first luxury car based on brand strength, high product
substance, intuitive digital experience and an emotive design.

The CLA BEV is the car built for newgeneration BEV customers, reflecting the desirability and craftsmanship that define Mercedes-Benz,
delivered through an electric and software defined platform, setting new standards for the segment.
At the heart of the CLA BEV is MB.OS, running on the MMA platform. It enables over-the-air updates,
continuous feature enhancements, and a MBUX experience that learns from the driver. The MBUX
Virtual Assistant does not wait to be asked, it guides charging decisions, adjusts routes, and manages
in-car settings based on how the car is being used.

The new CLA is designed from the ground-up for the electric and digital age at Mercedes-Benz. As the
first model of an entirely new vehicle family, it embodies the next evolutionary step in the MercedesBenz design philosophy of Sensual Purity.
With its fastback silhouette, the CLA stands for outstanding
aerodynamics and efficiency. The wheelbase (2,790 millimetres), short overhangs and a distinctive GT
rear are an emotional expression of athletic power.

The clear design language emphasises the sculpted surfaces with reduced lines and precise joints.
The striking character lines on the flank create an interesting interplay of light and shade when viewed
side-on. The powerful design conveys sporty confidence and modernity, giving the CLA a visual
lightness. The meticulous attention to detail underscores the high quality and exclusivity of the new
model.

Brightens the day and night: Panel with illuminated Mercedes-Benz pattern and headlights in star
design
The sporty front end of the all-electric CLA features a shark-nose design. The highlight is the new
panel with an illuminated Mercedes-Benz pattern, a reinterpretation of the classic chrome grille.
Seamlessly integrated into its surroundings, this design element not only includes the large iconic
Mercedes-Benz star but also features a total of 142 chrome-effect stars, creating a distinctive brand
signature.

Full-LED headlights provide an emotional and striking appearance during both day and night, as well
as optimum illumination of the road. They are connected by a band of light. The innovative star design
contributes to the unmistakable brand identity. With MULTIBEAM LED headlights, the daytime running
lights are designed in the shape of the Mercedes-Benz star.

Range and charging:
The CLA BEV is built for Indian driving realities. The CLA 250+ ‘Launch Edition’ and the ‘Long Range’,
with its 800 V architecture, recovers 400 kms of range in just 20 minutes via a 240 kW DC fast charger.
While the CLA 200 ‘Standard Range’ adds 320 kms** in the same time duration.

MB.CHARGE Public:
India’s MB.CHARGE Public network covers 9,000+ charging points, with MBUX-integrated navigation
directing customers to the optimal charging stop on any journey. customers who pre-booked the CLA
BEV receive it complimentary.

Simplified ownership with Mercedes-Benz Financial Services:
Ownership of the CLA BEV is backed by Mercedes-Benz Financial Services. Customers can enjoy the
flexibility to drive the CLA BEV an EMI starting just at Rs. 62,000 per month with the Star Agility+, with
an option to upgrade, extend, or return the vehicle at the end of the term.

Customers can also opt for standard Star Finance package at an introductory ROI of 6.99% for 5 years
loan period with an EMI of Rs. ~1.05 lakhs.

Value added Service Packages:
Mercedes-Benz’s 4-year unlimited mileage ‘Star Ease’ service package starts at Rs. 60,000. The
battery warranty is for 8 years/160,000 Kms, designed for customers who want the complete
Mercedes-Benz experience without any ownership complexity.
Mercedes-Benz introduces industry-first “High Voltage (HV) Battery Report with CLA BEV
Mercedes-Benz is introducing an industry first ‘High Voltage Battery Report’ driving clarity,
transparency and reassuring customers of the vehicle’s battery condition. The High-Voltage Battery
Report provides an objective overview of the high voltage battery status at the time of vehicle
evaluation and supports customer confidence in their BEVs.

This report will be driving complete peace of mind and worry-free ownership experience for
Mercedes-Benz BEV owners. The HV Battery Report will eliminate technical complexities for ease of
understanding of High Voltage Batterie status. This system generated ‘State of Charge Energy (SOCE)
Report’ aims to bring transparency. Mercedes-Benz will conduct physical inspection of the High
Voltage Batteries with system guidance for accurate results. This initiative will create customer
transparency and trust for an informed purchase decision for BEV customers.

The report is generated by authorized workshops using diagnostic system and includes physical
inspection and diagnostic evaluation of high voltage (HV) Battery. When handing over the report,
customers will also receive a set of straightforward FAQs as guidance material to help ensure the
information is easily understood. This initiative aims to strengthen customer trust, reduce uncertainty,
and enable transparent, confident discussions around electric mobility.

CLA 200 ‘Standard Range’
The CLA 200 ‘Standard Range’ with Progressive Line delivers 542 kms* of WLTP-certified range, with
the ability to add 320 kms** in 20 minutes via a 240 kW DC fast charger (max DC charging speed: 200
kW). The Progressive Line offers a clean, contemporary aesthetic with comfort seats, a multifunction
sports leather steering wheel, and two trim options.
Introductory ex-showroom price: INR 55 lakhs. Deliveries from June 2026.

CLA 250+ ‘Long Range’
The CLA 250+ ‘Long Range’ with AMG Line delivers 792 kms* of WLTP-certified range, with 800 V fast
charging capability enabling a 400 km top-up in 20 minutes via a 240 kW DC fast charger. The AMG
Line brings a sportier exterior treatment with design elements drawn from Mercedes-Benz’s
performance portfolio.
