Ather Energy CEO Tarun Mehta has announced a major update to the company’s annual flagship event, declaring, “We’re adding a second day to Ather Community Day this year.” For the first time, the highly anticipated event will span two days, transforming the 2026 edition into a broader celebration of both consumer products and behind-the-scenes engineering.
While August 29 will maintain its traditional focus on the community and new product unveilings—including the global debut of the mass-market ‘Konarc’ electric scooter—August 30 will introduce the inaugural Builders’ Edition.
This newly added second day is designed specifically for students, early-career professionals, and engineering enthusiasts. According to Mehta, the Builders’ Edition will dive deep into technology, design, and research, offering a closer look at what it takes to build ambitious hardware in India. Attendees can expect interactive sessions with Ather engineers, R&D project showcases, and design experience zones.
“The idea is to spend a day asking questions, having conversations, and getting into the details of how things are built,” Mehta explained, inviting curious minds to explore the core of India’s growing EV capabilities.
