India Kawasaki Motors has announced the MY27 Kawasaki Versys 650, an adventure-touring motorcycle with a starting ex-showroom price of INR 8,63,000/-. The vehicle is available in Candy Lime Green, and its deliveries are scheduled to commence at the end of August 2026. It is powered by a 649cc liquid-cooled, four-stroke parallel-twin engine that delivers 49.0 kW (67 PS) at 8,500 rpm and 61.0 N-m of torque at 7,000 rpm.
The motorcycle is constructed around a tubular diamond frame and is equipped with a long-travel suspension system featuring 150 mm of front travel and 145 mm of rear travel, alongside 17-inch wheels fitted with radial tyres. Additional specifications include a 21-litre fuel tank, a four-position adjustable windshield, a six-speed transmission utilizing an Assist & Slipper clutch, Kawasaki Traction Control (KTRC), and a 4.3-inch TFT colour display with smartphone connectivity.
