Kia Sorento fuel efficiency figures for the Sorento have been leaked, which was launched at a starting price of ₹27.99 lakh (ex-showroom) earlier last month. The three-row SUV is offered with two powertrain options: a 1.6-litre petrol-hybrid mated to a six-speed automatic transmission and a 2.2-litre diesel engine paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT). Both engine options are available in two-wheel-drive (2WD) and four-wheel-drive (4WD) configurations.
The petrol-hybrid variant delivers a claimed mileage of 19.60 kmpl in its 2WD iteration and 17.70 kmpl with 4WD. Meanwhile, the diesel version achieves a claimed fuel efficiency of 17.66 kmpl for the 2WD model and 15.79 kmpl for the 4WD variant. The Kia Sorento is available across nine variants, including six- and seven-seat layouts, eight exterior color options, and choices for ADAS and 4WD equipment. The numbers are not present on the website or brochure. When asked Kia India, there has been no response till the filling of this story.
