Maserati has introduced the updated GranTurismo and GranCabrio in India, marking the first major update for the second-generation grand tourers. Prices start at Rs 2.62 crore for the GranTurismo and Rs 2.91 crore for the GranCabrio, spanning across three powertrains: the entry-level 490, the higher-output Trofeo, and the fully electric Folgore. Deliveries in the Indian market are expected to follow.
Under the hood, the internal combustion engine (ICE) versions retain the 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 ‘Nettuno’ engine paired with a recalibrated 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. The entry-level 490 variant replaces the outgoing Modena, producing 490hp and 600Nm of torque. The range-topping Trofeo variant sees a 50hp increase, now delivering 590hp and 650Nm of torque, enabling a 0–100kph time of 3.5 seconds for the GranTurismo and 3.6 seconds for the GranCabrio. The all-electric Folgore variants retain a triple-motor setup powered by a 92.5kWh battery pack, generating 761hp and 1,340Nm of torque. Due to a new front-motor disconnect system, the claimed WLTP driving range for the Folgore has increased from 450km to 540km.

Visually, the updated models adopt a redesigned front bumper and splitter inspired by the MCPura, reshaped air intakes, and clear-lens LED tail-lamps. The electric Folgore variants feature unique bumpers, aero-optimised wheels, and copper-finished badges. Inside, the cabin introduces an octagonal steering wheel with dark satin aluminium spokes, a redesigned digital clock, metal drive selector knobs, and a driver fatigue monitoring system. Standard air suspension is fitted across the lineup, introducing a new ‘Country’ drive mode that raises ride height by 20mm for rough road conditions, while the track-focused ‘Corsa’ mode remains exclusive to Trofeo models. Customisation has also been expanded through the Maserati Fuoriserie programme, adding new paint finishes and wheel choices.
