Yamaha unveiled the Ténéré 4 Concept at EICMA 2026. While currently a prototype lacking standard road equipment such as turn signals and a license plate holder, the overall design and substance suggest it is close to its final production form.

Yamaha has indicated its intention to enter the motorcycle segment targeted at A2 license holders. Although specific technical details regarding the new single-cylinder engine’s displacement and power output have not been disclosed, the power output will remain under the 35 kW limit. Additional components include KYB suspension, 21- and 18-inch spoked wheels equipped with Michelin Anakee Wild tires, and a compact titanium Akrapovič exhaust. If it comes to India, which it should, expect it no earlier than 2029.
