Kawasaki has shown a number of prepositions at the ongoing 2019 EICMA Motor Show. Among the main attractions of the company’s stall, along with the Z900, is the latest iteration of the Z650 bike. 2020 Kawasaki Z650 has received a whole host of cosmetic updates besides getting a boost in the equipment level and three new color schemes.
The upgrade has made Z650 look sharper and thanks to the all-around LED lighting, the bike now feels more upmarket than before.
A large 10.9-inch colored TFT instrument cluster has now been a standard part of the 2020 Kawasaki Z650 equipment, displaying information on a large number of parameters such as gear position, fuel gauge, economical riding, and shift lamp among others. More importantly, the bike gets Bluetooth connectivity that enables the rider to have smartphone integration to access navigation, service status of the vehicle, and other important notifications. In order to make long journeys comfortable, Kawasaki has now provided pillion with a wider and deep cushioning seat.
On the mechanical front, things continue to remain the same as before though the company has a touch of green just to add to the styling quotient. 2020 Kawasaki Z650 stays put with its telescopic forks up front and rear monoshock suspension system arrangement as before. The bike gets its stopping power via a twin-disc and single disc combination at the front and rear respectively. For tires, Kawasaki has chosen Dunlop Sportsmax Roadsport 2 for 2020 Z650.
2020 Kawasaki Z650 has also received three new paint jobs – Candy lime green/Metallic Spark Black, Pearl Blizzard White/Metallic Spark Black, and only Metallic Spark black. As far as the launch is concerned, the 2020 Z650 will enter into the Indian market sometime next year although in the international market, the bike is going to arrive very soon in the future.
