Hero Dare 125 Scooter will offer class leading performance numbers, mileage, features and pricing to make it tempting deal
Hero wants to make it big in the scooter market. After ex-partner Honda has gained endless market in the scooter market, Hero hopes with its new engines fitted in the scooters and value for money package. Hero can take a significant share in the scooter market from its rival such as Honda and rapidly growing TVS as well. Hero Dare 125 is going to be one of them. The 125cc category is all set to bloom after Mahindra, Honda and Suzuki have uped their game in the same. Hero Dare, the 125cc scooter could make it to the market very soon, let’s say as early as August 2016. Let’s have a closer look at the vehicle.

The Scooter is set to be launched in India in mid 2026 is a possibility.
Dare 125 Design & Dimensions
On the face of it, the scooter is still a prototype but it shows the bold lines in the front at the front and side while the rear being minimalist. The front headlight will be raked lower, the front-end does look multi-color and futuristic at the same time. Overall design too looks sporty and should attract the youth when it reaches production stage, if the prototype lines will be followed.
Hero Dare 125 Price
Hero Dare 125 should be priced at Rs 80,000/90,000 ex-showroom Delhi for the base variant which will have features loaded to the brim.
Dare 125 Chassis, suspension and brakes
The scooter will use the same downtube chassis, with front forks being telescopic and single sided monoshock at the rear. Rear Both ends of the wheels are expected to be 12-inch for better stability and excellent ride quality.
Hero Dare 125 Engine & Mileage
The engine will be a brand new 125cc, air-cooled, 4-Stroke, 2-valve engine. The engine should make around 9 PS of power and maximum torque of 10 Nm @ 6000 RPM. The power will go through an automatic CVT gearbox. All these numbers should help it stay with likes of the competition when it comes to performance. Expect 40-45 km/l in the overall fuel efficiency cycle of the vehicle. The claimed efficiency is around 60 km/l which should be attainable on the highway.

There will be a disc brake or ABS/CBS on offer once the scooter has been launched. We expect larger rims and tyres such as 12-inch to be slapped on the Hero Dare 125.
