Kawasaki has unveiled updates to the Ninja ZX-10R, enhancing its aerodynamics, electronics, and chassis components. While the 998cc inline four-cylinder engine remains unchanged and is now Euro 5+ compliant with an added O2 sensor, the highlight of this update is the new wings attached to the fairing. These wings boost downforce by 25%, providing improved stability and precision when taking corners.
The Showa BFF and BFRC lite suspension systems are still in play, but they’ve been fine-tuned for better performance. Adjustments have also been made to the frame geometry. Additionally, the Öhlins steering damper is now a standard feature on the ZX-10R, no longer exclusive to the racing RR model, which continues to feature titanium connecting rods and Pankl pistons.
For braking, the Ninja ZX-10R retains its powerful Brembo M50 calipers paired with 330mm discs and a radial master cylinder. The ride is further enhanced by the debut of Bridgestone Battlax RS12 tires as standard equipment. The updated bike also boasts a new 5″ color TFT display, which now includes voice commands, turn-by-turn navigation, and the ability to connect with your phone via Bluetooth through the Rideology app.
