Indian Motorcycle Cruiser Range Launched – Chieftain, Roadmaster, Chief And Springfield

Indian Motorcycle, one of the prominent American cruiser manufacturers, has unveiled its pricing for the 2025 model year in our market. While nearly all of its offerings are made to order, the company has only shared starting prices for each model line.

The lineup kicks off with the Chief models, beginning at Rs 23.52 lakh. This range includes six different variants: Chief Dark Horse, Chief Bobber Dark Horse, Sport Chief, Sport Chief RT, Super Chief Dark Horse, and Super Chief Limited. All Chief models are equipped with a robust 1,890cc air-cooled V-twin engine, delivering 156Nm of torque at 3,000rpm, yet they vary in style and components.

Next in line are the Challenger models, which start at Rs 36.12 lakh. There are four variants to choose from: Challenger Limited, Challenger Dark Horse, Challenger Dark Horse with the 112 pack, and Challenger Limited with the 112 pack. The basic Challenger models feature a 1,768cc liquid-cooled V-twin engine that produces 178Nm of torque at 3,800rpm. Opting for the 112 pack upgrades you to a more powerful 1,834cc engine, offering 181.4Nm of torque at the same RPM. Additionally, the limited edition Challenger Elite showcases this engine with unique paintwork and enhanced features compared to the standard offerings.

Moving up the range, we come to the Chieftain models that start at Rs 37.11 lakh. These are available in four variants: Chieftain Dark Horse, Chieftain Limited, Chieftain Powerplus Limited, and Chieftain Powerplus Dark Horse. The first two feature the classic 1,890cc long-stroke air-cooled V-twin engine, generating 171Nm of torque at 3,000rpm, while the latter pair is powered by Indian’s 1,834cc liquid-cooled V-twin, delivering 181.4Nm at 3,800rpm.

Following this, the Springfield models have a starting price of Rs 41.96 lakh. Available in standard and Dark Horse variants, both are powered by the 1,890cc air-cooled V-twin engine, yielding 156Nm at 3,000rpm.

Next in line is the Pursuit family, starting at Rs 43.19 lakh, which includes four variants: Pursuit Limited, Pursuit Dark Horse, Pursuit Limited with the 112 Pack, and Pursuit Dark Horse with the 112 Pack. Similar to the Challenger models, the standard Pursuit bikes feature a 1,768cc liquid-cooled V-twin making 178Nm at 3,800rpm, while the 112 Pack versions boast the 1,834cc setup, producing 181.4Nm. There’s also a Pursuit Elite that stands out with custom hand-painted designs and additional premium features.

Finally, we have the Roadmaster, starting at Rs 48.49 lakh, offered in four variants—standard, Limited, Dark Horse, and Elite. All variants are powered by the 1,890cc air-cooled V-twin engine, producing 156Nm at 3,000rpm.

Indian Motorcycle showrooms are present in only six cities across our country – Chandigarh, New Delhi, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai and Kochi.
