Jeep India sales are declining due to premium price of their vehicles. Jeep India maintains its stance that they are premium brand in India and compete with other luxury car manufacturers in the country. The Compass is not on par with the Tata Harrier, Mahindra XUV 700 or MG Hector. It ends up going the likes of the Volkswagen Tiguan and Citroen C5 Aircross. The company is now strengthening its portfolio in India by adding safety features and technologies such as ADAS.
Jeep Meridian has seen many limited edition variants till date and no we think that the ADAS 2024 test variant seen Karnataka will come next. The test mule carries temporary Maharashtra number plates and may have been manufactured at FCA’s Ranjangaon plant.

It is not yet known if the 2024 Jeep Meridian and 2024 Compass will see design changes. The price will go higher by Rs 1/1.5 lakh for ADAS equipped variant for Compass and Meridian. No word on affordable models below the Compass yet has been heard.
