JSW MG Motor Expands, Creates And Grows With New Initiatives

JSW MG Motor India today announced that India’s best-selling EV, the MG Windsor, has achieved another remarkable milestone. In July, the company set a new record for Windsor sales, selling 4,308 units in a single month. The carmaker has sold nearly 36,000 units of the MG Windsor since its launch. The robust sales performance has helped the company expand its market share in the EV Segment. In Q2 CY’25, the company recorded a 4% increase in market share, rising to 32% from 28% in Q1 CY’25. During the same period, average sales of MG Windsor grew by 17%. In addition, the company’s EV wholesales increased by 28% from Q1 CY’25 to Q2 CY’25.

JSW MG Motor India inaugurated a new state-of-the-art showroom in Bengaluru Urban. Built over an area of 7000 sq. ft with 7 cars layout area, the newly inaugurated showroom will have the futuristic and technologically advanced product line up of MG at display. Car buyers can experience the popular models like MG Hector, Astor, Gloster and acclaimed EV line up – Comet, ZS EV and India’s best-selling Windsor EV at MG ARRTHA CARS, SY No -98/5, Kogilu Cross Service Road, Yelahanka, Bengaluru.

The expansion of JSW MG Motor India’s network aligns with its strategic vision to offer the exceptional overall buying and ownership experience. With this inauguration, the company now has 14 touchpoints in the state of Karnataka.
The inauguration also coincides with MG Motor’s 6th anniversary in India, a journey that began in 2019 with the launch of the MG Hector and has since expanded to include popular models like the MG Astor, MG ZS EV, MG Gloster, MG Windsor and now the MG Windsor PRO. To mark the milestone, limited-period offers are being extended across select models, including the Hector and Astor, making advanced technology and premium SUVs more accessible to a wider audience.

JSW MG Motor India, committed to enhancing accessibility to advanced automotive technologies and futuristic products, proudly inaugurated its new 3S showroom in Muvattupuzha, Kerala today. Strategically located at NH 49, Sangamo Junction, Kadathy, this state-of-the-art facility offers Sales, Service, and Spare parts, catering to car buyers in and around of Muvattupuzha. Customers can enjoy an immersive experience through a digital configurator for personalized vehicle selection and benefit from an in-house EV charging station, reinforcing MG’s commitment to sustainable mobility and customer convenience.

JSW MG Motor India now spans over 90% of India’s geographical footprint, with a robust network of over 543 sales and aftersales touchpoints across 270 cities. This expansive reach is a testament to the brand’s commitment to making advanced mobility solutions more accessible to customers nationwide.

To ensure seamless support, service centres are strategically located within a 15-kilometre radius, enabling customer assistance within just 30 minutes across most regions of India. This infrastructure reinforces JSW MG Motor India’s customer-first philosophy and its dedication to delivering a superior ownership experience.

JSW MG Motor India’s new-age luxury channel, MG SELECT, today welcomed a fresh cohort of sports car enthusiasts and luxury automotive buyers, as eight units of the MG Cyberster were handed over at the MG SELECT Aiconic Automobiles Experience Centre in Bengaluru Central. The keys to the world’s fastest MG were handed over by Parth Jindal, Director, JSW MG Motor India, officially making the customers part of a pioneering chapter in India’s sports car history. The newly opened Bengaluru Aiconic Automobiles Experience Centre showcases both the MG Cyberster and the MG M9 Presidential Limousine.

Building on the success of its consumer-led ‘EV Sahi Hai’ campaign, JSW MG Motor India today announced the launch of the second phase of its public awareness initiative, featuring Varun Sharma and Pulkit Samrat. The campaign leverages the widespread appeal of Varun Sharma and Pulkit Samrat, best known for their camaraderie in the renowned film ‘Fukrey’, to effectively communicate the tagline: EV Sahi Hai. This phase will be rolled out across television, digital platforms, and radio. Conceptualized by CheilX, directed by Vikalp Chhabra, and produced by Red Comet Films, this film was shot in the picturesque cities of Dehradun and Rishikesh.

In addition, the carmaker has launched a brand-new website – www.evsahihai.com, which is now accessible to customers. This website will feature a wide range of information on EVs, aimed at educating and raising awareness among consumers, especially those new to EVs.
