Kia Motors expands its range of compact SUVs with a new model called ‘AY’. It was recently seen being tested for the first time. Kia Motors’ new compact SUV is rumored to be called the ‘Clavis’. It is thought to be below the Sonet. The Clavis is a Hyundai Exter photo copy. The Kia Clavis is believed to be a sub-4 meter crossover. A spy image revealed a boxy design with short front and rear overhangs. The test mule had double-spoke alloy wheels.
Little is known about the Kia Clavis, but reports suggest it could have a variety of powertrain options, including a hybrid. Kia will release an EV version of the Clavis in the future. It should have tonnes of feature as always to attract customers. Expect high on safety and inclusion of ADAS to make it a big hit in the premium sub compact SUV space like any other Hyundai Group car.
