KTM, the world’s No. 1 premium motorcycle brand, today announced two major racing initiatives at India Bike Week (IBW): the launch of KTM Cup Season 3, featuring MotoGP legend Dani Pedrosa, and the introduction of the KTM Adventure Rally in India, headlined by global adventure riding icon Chris Birch.
Highlighting KTM’s commitment to delivering global-level motorcycling experiences, KTM Cup Season 3 will give Indian riders the rare opportunity to train with MotoGP legend Dani Pedrosa. Dani is the pioneer behind KTM’s RC16 MotoGP machine and a multiple Grand Prix podium finisher, including recent top four and podium results at San Marino and Jerez. Bringing world-class racing expertise directly to India, the championship represents the next evolution of KTM’s structured racing ecosystem in the country and will commence on 17 January.
The season will feature four zonal rounds across Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Guwahati, expanding competitive racing access nationwide. Selection rounds will also feature live performances by renowned KTM stunt rider Rok Bagoros, adding to the high-energy race atmosphere. Expecting 800 participants in zonal and 80 in finale at Chennai. Winners to earn an exclusive trip to the Austria Grand Prix with pit access and a visit to KTM Motohall.
Further strengthening its global riding culture, KTM announced the arrival of the KTM Adventure Rally — one of KTM’s most iconic and demanding rider engagement formats worldwide — now coming to India. The five-day rally from 27 February to 3 March, hosted on India’s scenic West Coast in Goa, will bring together over 120 riders for a professionally curated adventure riding experience.
The rally will be led by KTM Global Ambassador Chris Birch — an eight-time New Zealand Enduro Champion, Dakar Rally finisher, and one of the world’s most respected off-road and adventure riding experts. Known for his role in testing KTM’s flagship adventure motorcycles, including the 790 Adventure Chris Birch will ride alongside participants, offering hands-on guidance and sharing advanced off-road and endurance riding techniques.
Adding to the IBW experience, KTM has set up a dedicated KTM Off-Road Track at India Bike Week, where riders can experience the new ADV and Enduro as well as participate in a ‘Ride and Win’ challenge that will earn a direct ticket to the KTM Adventure Rally, offering IBW attendees a unique pathway into KTM’s flagship adventure format.
Speaking on the announcements, Manik Nangia, President – Probiking, KTM India said, “KTM’s ‘Ready To Race’ philosophy is about pushing limits — on the racetrack and beyond. KTM Cup Season 3 allows riders to train with MotoGP legend Dani Pedrosa, while the KTM Adventure Rally at IBW give riders a chance to ride with global adventure icons like Chris Birch.
