In the Hapur area of Uttar Pradesh, a car caught fire in one of the first documented incidents involving the Mahindra BE 6 electric vehicle. Preliminary information indicates that the EV with registration number UP 13U 7555 caught fire while traveling on the highway.
According to sources, Aman Kharbanda was driving his electric vehicle from Bulandshahr to Hapur. The moment he arrived at the Kurana Toll Plaza, the car started to emit smoke. The car was engulfed in a tremendous fire as the smoke quickly turned to flames.
When Kharbanda saw the flames, he stopped the car right away and got out safely. His prompt intervention prevented a serious catastrophe. The automobile was completely destroyed by the flames in a matter of seconds.
According to a Dainik Bhaskar article, cops from the Hafizpur station raced to the scene after learning about the event and immediately contacted the fire tenders.
It took a lot of effort for firefighters to contain the fire. During the event, traffic on the roadway was temporarily disrupted.
According to the study, preliminary examinations indicate that the most likely cause is either a short circuit in the battery or a technical issue with the EV. It also stated that more research is being done to determine the precise cause.
