The EQE SUV has come to India today. One of the most spacious representatives of its class and challenges the like of the Audi E-Tron SUV which rules this segment by a long shot. The EQE SUV is set to replace the EQC, which the Audi dethroned. The EQE is a more radical approach to the same segment. Mercedes-Benz Charging Network will be available to every EV customer in India by Q4’ 2023: Mercedes-Benz will now make its largest OEM-backed ‘Ultra-Fast’ charging network available to all EV customers in India, irrespective of the brand. They can utilize the service at select Mercedes- Benz Franchise across the country on a chargeable basis. All EV owners, during showroom working hours, can now enjoy the unrivalled luxurious experience of the Mercedes-Benz Franchise, experience the Mercedes Café, and avail Wi-Fi and personalized treatment, while they wait for their car to charge. This facility can be availed via an aggregator mobile application. Mercedes- Benz customers will continue to enjoy complimentary charging till end of CY 2023.
New ‘Customer Experience Center’: First time to offer curated Customer Deliveries* and Corporate events
The EQE 500 4MATIC SUV was launched in the New ‘Customer Experience Center’ (earlier known as Center of Excellence) at Mercedes-Benz India, Chakan Pune. With this, Mercedes-Benz will create a 360-degree curated experience for Mercedes-Benz customers by offering personalized consultation, guided factory tours, and an opportunity to experience the off-roading prowess of their cars on the ‘SUV Track’. The customers can utilize the facility for the first-time, for special car deliveries. All Mercedes-Benz Top-End-Vehicle customers can avail the ‘Customer Experience Centre’ to host their own associates and guests for corporate events subject to terms and conditions.

Electric powertrain at both the front and rear axle produces 300 kW of power and 858 Nm of Torque. It accelerates from standstill to 100 km/h in only 4.9 seconds. The battery pack of 90.56 kWh provides you with the WLTP range of up to 550 kms on a single charge.
Electro design aesthetics: The all-electric EQE SUV is a new interpretation of the Sport Utility Vehicle. The characteristic black panel radiator grille and the tautly stretched silhouette characterize the self-confident appearance. A muscular shoulder area underlines the powerful character.
Compact on the outside, spacious on the inside: The EQE SUV has length/width/height of 4863/1940/1685 mm and offers a generous amount of space and a maximum boot capacity of 1675 litres thanks to having a long wheelbase of 3030 mm.
The Battery: The EQE SUV is fitted with a lithium-ion battery with a high energy density. It has a usable energy content of 90.56 kWh.
Powerful and efficient motors: The EQE SUV has two motors, both are newly developed permanently excited synchronous motor. This gives a combined power output of 300 kW and torque of 858 Nm.
MBUX Hyperscreen: 3 displays seamlessly blend beneath a glass panel, creating one large Hyperscreen. Bright OLED displays with haptic feedback and the innovative zero-layer interface create a particularly comfortable user experience.
More traction with 4MATIC all-wheel drive: The 4MATIC system uses Torque Shift: The Torque Shift function ensures intelligent, continuously variable distribution of drive torque between the rear and front electric motors and thus the use of the most efficient electric drivetrain in each case.
AIRMATIC Suspension: EQE SUV is equipped with AIRMATIC suspension which provides unmatched comfort. It also offers practicality by raising the car by 25 mm with just the touch of a button.
Transparent Bonnet: This unique feature uses artificial intelligence and a 360-degree camera to display a virtual view under the vehicle, including the front wheels and the steering position.
Intelligent energy recovery: one-pedal driving to a standstill: The EQE SUV offers several variants of energy recovery by means of recuperation. In this process, the high-voltage battery is charged by converting the mechanical rotary motion into electrical energy during overrun or braking mode. The driver can manually select the deceleration in overrun mode in three stages (D+, D, D) as well as the gliding function via shift paddles behind the steering wheel.
Safety concept for the high-voltage system: The high-voltage system can be automatically switched off in a crash. Another feature of this comprehensive safety concept is that the charging process is automatically curtailed if an impact is detected when the car is stationary at a DC charging station.
Extensive range of driving assistance systems: The current generation of driving assistance systems includes numerous functions that support the driver. The general standard equipment of the EQE SUV includes Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC, Active Brake Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist, and Parking Package with 360-degree camera. The status and activity of the systems are shown in a full-screen view in the assistance display in the driver’s display.
A host of high-tech features: DIGITAL LIGHT headlamp technology makes innovative functions possible. Another equipment highlight is ENERGIZING AIR CONTROL Plus. A HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filter can clean the outside air including smallest particles such as pollen and fine particulates, with a filter performance of up to 99.65 percent.
Sustainability: EQE SUV components weighing more than 70 kg are made partly from resource- saving materials (recyclates and renewable raw materials). These include grab handles with plastics from chemical recycling. In their production, fossil-based raw materials were replaced by biomethane and pyrolysis oil from recycled used tyres. The used tyres come from Mercedes-Benz vehicles, among others. In this way, Mercedes-Benz is also closing the material cycle of the used tyres. The recycling of secondary materials also reduces the use of fossil-based resources as well
as the CO2 footprint of plastic. The innovative recycled plastic has the same properties as virgin plastic made from fossil-based raw materials.
