India’s Small EV – MG Comet Launch In May – Interior Revealed

Building on its nearly century-old legacy of producing iconic automobiles, MG Motor India earlier announced the name of its upcoming Smart EV as ‘Comet’. The name derives inspiration from the iconic 1934 British airplane which participated in the England-Australia MacRobertson Air Race.

Today, MG shares the first look of its upcoming smart EV, Comet. Gadget & Tech have disrupted the way people experience music and entertainment! MG Motor has always focused on enhancing the mobility experience with its unique Auto-Tech proposition. With its fun and stylish exterior and smart, connected and futuristic technology, MG Comet- the upcoming urban EV from MG Motor makes for a perfect car for the urban tribe.

MG Comet’s multi-function and uniquely designed steering comes combined with intelligent tech and futuristic pod controls that lend the EV a modern gadget feel. Integrated with multiple tech and connected features, the interior of Comet and its bespoke design reflects modern imagery that highlights innovation in EV space.

The ‘Comet’ is here at a time when driving in congested urban cities is becoming a stressful chore that calls for an urgent need for agile and futuristic solutions amidst skyrocketing fuel costs, sparse parking spaces, and increasing pollution. Electric vehicles can help reduce environmental impact, save costs, and offer convenience as well as comfort. MG Motor India’s current portfolio includes vehicles such as the Hector which was named after a World War II fighter British biplane built in the late 1930s. Similarly, the Gloster is named after a prototype jet-engine aircraft that was made in Britain and first flown in 1941. Information and specifications are not out yet.
