2019 Gixxer 150 Spied and this is how the 2019 Gixxer 250 will be too. Cheaper than the SF, these two will re-create the magic that the original Gixxer did in 2014

A new set of spy images of the upcoming 2019 Suzuki Gixxer 155 has been surfaced on the internet; revealing important details of the bike. The new model will feature a more muscular design just like its outgoing one but Japanese bike maker has infused some fresh design elements in the upcoming model to tell it apart from the currently selling version. Take, for example, the new silver-framed LED headlamp which looks sharper than the outgoing model’s halogen unit and adds aesthetic appeal to its demeanor.

The fuel tank has got broad shoulders – just like the existing one – though shrouds on the upcoming model have become sharper than before. The most prominent change, however, manifests in the form of the restyled rear section of the bike. Just like 2019 Gixxer SF, the upcoming Gixxer 155 will feature a split-seat design, a new LED tail lamp, and twin-orifice exhaust system. The new black and blue scheme look very impressive. Also, a newly designed digital instrument cluster (backlit in white) will replace the orange backlit unit of the outgoing bike.

Suzuki Gixxer 155 will come powered by a 155 cc, fuel-injected motor which is capable of putting out 13.9 bhp and 14 Nm of max power and max torque respectively. The suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks up front while at the rear, a monoshock suspension system will be in use. The stopping power will be provided by disc brakes at both front and rear ends while a single-channel ABS will be fitted as a standard part of the equipment. The Gixxer 250 will be 26 PS and 23 Nm of torque how the Gixxer SF 250 is right now.

The prices will be announced at an official launch ceremony but we guesstimate that 2019 Suzuki Gixxer 155 will be priced around Rs 95-98k. Once launched, the bike will be up against the likes of Honda CB Hornet 160R, TVS Apache RTR 160 4v, and Yamaha FZ-S among others.
