Yes, the headline says it all, well almost. Always, read the full article before you make up your mind anyways. The Skoda Slavia took some harsh criticism for going down the inches with its screen replacement from the previous 10 inches to this new current 8 inches. First seen in Kushaq and intitally in the Slavia, the manufacturer has replaced with a new screen made by Panasonic, but not in the house as the initial batch cars.

The new photos are out and the screen looks good enough! Even by the 2022 standard, we think the screen is just fine as it looks high quality, two rotary dials and graphics are ok too. However, if you look closely, this is not the same infotainment system as before.

This is the system we have seen in previous generations Octavia, Kodiaq and Superb. All of this clearly makes it totally acceptable even by today’s standards. Somehow, if Skoda could keep the latest version of the VW group infotainment system, with a smaller size, it would have 4.5 stars out 5. This is still a 4-star out of 5 in our books!

Skoda Slavia will retain the same fantastic engines such as the practical and fun 1.0 TSi with manual and automatic and the splendid 1.5 TSi with DSG and manual option. What a relief if you ask us. Skoda is trying very hard to impress its customer and it clearly shows. The new innings of 2.0 at VW group India finally seems very India-focused and extremely friendly towards its discerning customers than ever before.
