Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. today showcased its vision for the future of smart and safe mobility at its landmark event, Snapdragon for India: Auto Day. The event was honored by the presence of Shri Nitin Gadkari, Hon’ble Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India, who attended as the Chief Guest—underscoring the strong support for advanced technologies in transforming India’s transportation landscape.

The event brought together India’s leading automakers, tech experts, partners and policymakers – reinforcing Qualcomm Technologies’ pivotal role in shaping the future of mobility in India. Through its Snapdragon® Digital Chassis™ suite of solutions, Qualcomm Technologies showcased a future-ready portfolio comprised of its Snapdragon® Cockpit, Snapdragon Ride™, Snapdragon Ride™ Flex, Snapdragon Auto Connectivity and Snapdragon Car-to-Cloud services – each tailored to India’s unique driving environment.

India’s automotive sector is rapidly evolving with digital cockpit and connected vehicle innovations, driven by strategic collaborations to deliver immersive in-vehicle experiences utilizing the latest Snapdragon Cockpit and Auto Connectivity Platforms. Qualcomm Technologies showcased its strengthened collaborations with key Indian automakers, featuring Maruti Suzuki on connected car technologies; Mahindra on Snapdragon Cockpit and Auto Connectivity for immersive in-cabin experiences, and Spark Minda on smart cockpit solutions for enhanced digital interfaces. These efforts underscore Qualcomm’s role in driving innovation in India’s automotive sector.

Accelerating Smart Mobility in Two-Wheelers
India’s two-wheeler segment is undergoing a rapid transformation through innovative collaborations and smart technology integration. Qualcomm Technologies is driving this change through its Snapdragon Digital Chassis solutions, showcased at the event with Hero MotoCorp to enhance ride connectivity and intelligence, Ultraviolette with integrated connectivity into high-performance electric bikes, Royal Enfield with its connected cluster systems, and Pricol to power next-gen telematics and connected cluster systems for upcoming vehicles. These collaborations are set to revolutionize the riding experience in India with features like real-time connectivity, enhanced safety, and intelligent dashboards.

The Intersection of Technology and Creativity: will.i.am x Qualcomm

Nakul Duggal and Don McGuire, SVP & Chief Marketing Officer, were joined on stage by will.i.am, creative innovator, tech entrepreneur and Founder & CEO of FYI.AI, to discuss FYI RAiDiO and Melodic Drive features optimized for Snapdragon Digital Chassis-powered devices. Demonstrated in collaboration with the Mahindra BE 6 and XEV 9e luxury electric vehicles, RAiDiO.FYI and Melodic Drive teamed with Qualcomm Technologies’ sensing software and audio processing, leveraging on-device personalization and secure, low-latency performance to support ideation, content creation and real-time vehicle and drier collaboration, turning the car into a virtual musical instrument with the driver in control of the performance. Driver motion dynamics, including acceleration, braking, and steering are incorporated to create new musical expressions in real-time.

Safe and Comfortable Driving in India

Attendees experienced the future of automotive tech through Snapdragon Digital Chassis-powered solutions, showcasing innovations for safer and smarter driving — including the first-ever demonstration of Snapdragon Ride in India. Qualcomm Technologies has partnered with numerous automotive companies, including Autolink, Bosch, Desay, Harman, Mobis, Thundersoft, Tata Elxsi, Valeo, Visteon and ZF.
