Continuing its ‘Street to Track’ philosophy, the Continental GT Cup remains one of the most accessible entry points into circuit racing in India. With just a valid driving licence, riders can sign up and take their first step into racing. Last season saw an overwhelming response, with close to 6,000 registrations and 560 riders attending the zonal selections. From this, the fastest riders earned a place on the final grids, highlighting the growing interest in track racing across the country.
For the first time since 2022, professional and aspiring riders will compete on separate grids, bringing a sharper competitive edge while allowing both categories to progress at their own pace. The upcoming season will also feature a prize pool of INR 20 lakh alongwith hospitality support across all rounds, making it one of the most rewarding manufacturer-backed one-make racing championships in the country.
Introducing the All-New GT-R750 Race Prototype
A key highlight this season is the debut of the all-new Continental GT-R750 race prototype, developed for professional riders, marking the next step in Royal Enfield’s racing journey. Amateur riders will continue to compete on the proven GT-R650 platform, which has been at the core of the GT Cup over the past five seasons.
Built on an entirely new platform, the GT-R750 has been engineered to deliver sharper performance, greater agility, and enhanced rider feedback on the racetrack. The motorcycle features race-tuned suspension and braking systems, lightweight twin stainless steel race exhausts, and a new aerodynamic race fairing designed to help riders tuck in better and maximise straight-line performance.

The final rider selections for GT Cup 2026 will take place from June 18 to 21,2026 at Kari Motor Speedway, Coimbatore. The racing season will unfold across three rounds in August, September and November at the same venue
