One of the things is that the diesel powered engines could come in the future, but not before 2030. This is a sign which Volkswagen India is also showing of bringing the diesel back. The diesel engine come back will actually help the brands boost sales and meet CAFE norms of the future.
With hybrid and turbo petrol already providing low C02 numbers. Renault Duster diesel will be an escastic come back if it happens. Renault India is working on many things for its grand comeback to take its market share from the Germans especially. With stronger products in sight and Duster excellent packaging, the pricing is set to be on point and helping Renault India take over the market once again.
