Great news for electric vehicle fans! Bengaluru-based startup Simple Energy is set to add a new family-friendly scooter to its lineup, tentatively called the ‘Arrive’. Departing from the bold, angular styling of the Simple One, the Arrive features a more traditional and approachable design, perfect for everyday family rides. Simple Energy today announced that it will unveil its first family scooter on September 2, 2026, signalling its entry into India’s largest scooter segment.
Recent spy photos hint at some impressive practical features, such as a spacious flat single-piece seat, a convenient center stand, and a thoughtful storage cubby. Plus, it’s equipped with a sleek modern TFT dashboard, twin shock absorbers for a smooth ride, and dependable 12-inch wheels.
The launch marks the next chapter in Simple Energy’s journey as an engineering-led EV manufacturer. With the Simple One, the company challenged industry conventions by setting new benchmarks in performance and technology, while becoming India’s fastest electric scooter. Continuing its pursuit of innovation, Simple Energy recently unveiled Simple Ultra, setting a new benchmark for electric scooters in India with an IDC range of 400 km – the highest range offered by any electric scooter in the country. The upcoming family scooter brings this same engineering philosophy to a new category, reimagining everyday mobility for Indian households.
Developed through years of in-house research and engineering, the upcoming scooter reflects Simple Energy’s focus on building products from first principles. The company’s R&D capabilities span proprietary software, vehicle technologies and advanced engineering solutions, including becoming the first Indian OEM to commercially manufacture heavy rare earth-free electric motors. Engineered for everyday riders and families, the new scooter combines practicality, advanced technology and thoughtful design to deliver a differentiated ownership experience. With this launch, Simple Energy aims to raise the benchmark for what customers can expect from their everyday ride.
The launch represents the next phase of Simple Energy’s product strategy as the company expands its portfolio while remaining rooted in engineering excellence, purposeful innovation and customer-first product development. The Simple Arrive is gearing up to make a strong impression in the market, positioning itself as a fantastic and practical option to compete with well-known rivals like the Ather Rizta, TVS iQube, and Bajaj Chetak!
