Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. (SMIPL), a subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan operating since February 2006 out of Gurugram, Haryana, manufactures 125cc scooters, electric scooters, premium motorcycles, and big bikes. In July 2026, SMIPL reported its highest-ever monthly sales of 1,42,985 units, marking a 26% growth compared to 1,13,600 units in July 2025.
Domestic sales reached a record 1,23,216 units, up 28% from 96,029 units in July 2025, while exports grew 13% to 19,769 units from 17,571 units during the same period. Spare parts revenue also hit a peak of INR 1,029 million, reflecting a 23% year-over-year growth. Alongside these sales results, SMIPL conducted events including GIXXER Pit Stop test rides across Prayagraj, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Bengaluru, as well as an Access Mileage Contest in Hisar. To further support its market operations, SMIPL expanded both its dealership and service footprints in August 2026.
On August 14, 2026, the company inaugurated Shreejee Suzuki in Bareilly, marking its first dealership in the location and bringing its Uttar Pradesh total to 63 touchpoints and its national count to 1,251 touchpoints. Located at Bisalpur Chowraha, Lal Jagat Pur, this 3S facility offers sales, service, spare parts, genuine accessories, apparel, and test rides for models including the Access, Avenis, Burgman Street, e-ACCESS, GIXXER series, and V-STROM SX. Shortly after, on August 27, 2026, SMIPL launched India’s first ‘Suzuki Lounge’ at Riddhi Suzuki in Pimpalghar, Bhiwandi, Thane, Maharashtra. The integrated outlet combines a modern four-bay service workshop separated by glass partitions for viewing, a hospitality-focused customer lounge, and a new vehicle display area.
