According to Vahan’s latest data on passenger vehicle sales, Tata Motors clinched the second position in October 2025 by selling 74,705 units. This was 7,905 units ahead of Mahindra and 9,660 units above Hyundai.
In October 2025, Tata Motors achieved impressive sales figures, positioning itself just behind Maruti Suzuki with 74,705 passenger vehicles sold. This follows sales of 38,286 units in August and 41,151 units in September, as reported by FADA. The jump to October saw a remarkable increase of 81 percent month-on-month, likely fueled by the recent festive season and GST reductions that lowered prices by as much as Rs 1.55 lakh on its vehicles.
The Vahan sales data for October 2025 clearly highlights Tata Motors’ significant lead over Hyundai and Mahindra, with a notable advantage of 7,905 units over Mahindra and 9,660 units over Hyundai.
Meanwhile, both Mahindra and Hyundai also witnessed strong sales growth during this period. Mahindra’s sales surged from 37,659 units in September to 66,800 units in October, a 77 percent rise, while Hyundai saw its sales increase from 35,812 units to 65,045 units, achieving an 81 percent boost.
