Tata is living up to almost all the synonyms of success in the world. Tata has all over become the standing force behind India’s hardcore push towards of moving forward. Tata established its position in this segment with the launch of Nexon a few years ago and now, with Punch, Tata is at the top of the car sales list in India. The Tata Punch micro-SUV was the best-selling vehicle in India in the first half of this year (January to July 2024), with a total of 126,000 units sold.
By July 2024, Tata Punch will sell 16,121 units, while sales in June and May will be 18,238 and 18,949 units. Between January and July 2024, the Punch outsold the Maruti Suzuki Wagon R which sold 1.16 lakh units.

After Punch and Wagon R, the third position is held by Hyundai Creta with 1,08,698 sales, followed by Maruti Suzuki Brezza with 1,04,739 sales from January to July 2024. What has helped Tata presses achieve good sales is the variety of electronics they offer. The Tata Punch is available in petrol-only, petrol-CNG as well as all-electric SUV variants. The latter’s introduction helped the manufacturer increase Punch sales.
