Triumph Street Scrambler India is priced extremely well at Rs. 8.10 lakhs ex-showroom Pan India

Triumph as big plans for the Indian market. The manufacturer is making sure that their motorcycles are accessible and affordable for the Indian consumers. The manufacturer has been offering all types of bikes. Big bikes, adventure bikes, classic bikes, the manufacturer has it on all offer worldwide and in India as well. We have seen the Bonneville range growing and rapidly like no other platform. Triumph recently launched the Bobber at a great price and it has done the same with the Triumph Street Scrambler.

The Street Scrambler has the same 900 cc parallel-twin engine with the Triumph Street Twin. This bike also gets ride-by-wire, standard ABS and traction control as well. The engine produces 54 bhp at 6000 RPM and 80 Nm of peak torque that comes at in 2850 RPM. 5-Speed gearbox is on offer. However, on the Street Scrambler, the engine is re-tuned for more power lower in the revs, for better throttle response and shorter gearing.

The tubular steel cradle chassis is seen revised as well for the job. The Triumph Street Scrambler gets wire-spoke wheels at both ends. There is a large, 19-inch wheel at the front. The Triumph Street Scrambler suspension consists of 41 mm KYB front forks with 120 mm of travel, and KYB twin suspension setup at the rear, also with 120 mm travel.

When it comes to the design, a new head clamp, a fuel tank cover which is lockable. Ribbed, alacantra seat is a big plus. You also get a bash plates, dirt bike inspired foot-pegs and exhaust that sticks out which is the highlight. Braking is handled with a 310 mm front disc, with Nissin 2-piston floating caliper, and a single 255 mm disc at the rear. ABS is switchable, as so is the traction control system. The Triumph Street Scrambler already has a lot of competition in the country. The Triumph Street Scrambler will compete with the Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled. The manufacturer says that the bike is an ideal combination of beauty and power along with ruggedness.
