The Volkswagen Taigun is now ready for launch on 9’th April 2026. Following the trend set by the Skoda Kushaq facelift, both the front and rear of the Volkswagen Taigun Facelift will see updates to align with the latest design language of the German manufacturer. This refresh represents a mid-cycle update for the SUV that will help it take on the wholesale number and not the critic king, the Hyundai Creta. Designed to be like the Tiguan, the Taigun will again have an advantage in design over its rivals by a big margin!
Inside the cabin, some enhancements and new trim options are anticipated, although the overall layout is likely to remain unchanged. Mechanically, no significant alterations are expected; the vehicle will continue to offer the 1.0-litre turbo and 1.5-litre turbo engines, with both automatic and manual transmission choices available that are already known for good balance. The tweaks could make it different, so we will let you know more about it after testing it.
This facelift is expected to be the last significant update for the current Taigun generation. There are talks of a 7-seater variant of this as well. We might also see the introduction of a CNG variant, along with a comparably sized electric vehicle as well. Volkswagen group might really pull it off well in the next three years and it begins with this all important Taigun facelift!
