Bajaj Triumph Bike Will Be An Avenger Or A New Brand and could be a motorcycle well over 400cc!

If you don’t already know, two of the most successful motorcycle brands have joined hands. Yes, we are talking about none other than the Bajaj-Triumph partnership. Last year these iconic brands entered into an alliance to develop mid-capacity motorcycles. It was a clever decision by both the brands. Bajaj with its vast resources and Triumph with its array of new technologies and years of experience, things just couldn’t get any better for us enthusiasts. Furthermore looking into how well KTM’s and Bajaj’s partnership has turned out, we can expect the same if not even better tuning of the Brit brand with the Indian counterpart.

But is that all? Are we only going to rave about this fruitful policy? No. In fact there’s more. Last year there were widespread rumours that the upcoming bike by the Bajaj-Triumph duo would be a Dominar. Now, however, things are different. Not-so-surprisingly, the duo will focus on the middle-weight segment, but this time the motorcycle won’t be a Dominar. In fact as the reports suggest, this collaboration could bring out a completely new brand altogether or it will be bank on the successful brand, Avenger, which is doing really well in the market right now. This, Bajaj Triumph Bike, we suspect will actually be beneficial for both the manufacturers, as it will differentiate the premium products and will help them be priced accordingly.

Another possibility is of a new cruiser. Bajaj, as we all know, is adept at building mid-level cruisers, and Triumph needs no introduction. Their Bonneville line-up is a strong testimony to this statement. The middle-weight segment is blooming with motorcycles like the new Vulcan cruiser and the Harley Street Rod. If such a cruiser is launched, it will face stiff competition from these two. A near 500cc cruiser from this duo could be just the motorcycle enthusiasts await for. And with Bajaj’s backing, this Bajaj Triumph Bike could even be priced aggressively, ultimately ringing the brand’s cash registers.

Triumph says this strategy will help them dig deeper into the Indian automotive scene, which in turn will boost the annual sales of the British bike maker. Bajaj too will benefit from the same, as it will enable them to get a strong hold on the international markets. Looking at the bright side, this entire plan will also fuel the ‘Make in India” campaign which to be honest seals the deal. What do you expect from the new bike to roll out from this duo?
