Toyota Innova Crysta needs no hardcore introduction. It is successful evolution of the older Innova which carried every single person in this country at one time to the Airport/Station or its destination. Innova Crysta Design
The design of the MPV is clearly evolutionary. The front and rear have drastically changed and the window line at the side has upward tilt to make it more airy on the inside. Overall side profile will remind one of the old Innova but in a fresh new way. The front is larger and flatter which should help in many ways.
The headlights have projectors built-in them, they should their job pretty well. Rear shows typical signs of a Japanese vehicle where the tail-lights are far more edgier. 16-inch instead of old 15-inch wheels make sure that the car has more poise stance wise and driving.

Older Innova at a price did not have the features to boast for. The Innova Crysta has everything right from Navigation, touchscreen, Bluetooth, Aux, USB, cruise control and much more when it comes to connectivity. Fit-finish wasn’t an issue before but it was the quality.
Something that the company has worked hard and it shows. Quality inside is revolutionary when compared to the old car. Leather seen on the car dashboard and there is a new steering wheel and dials that resemble the Toyota family and remind of the Camry. The A/C Vents, the wood running through the lower half, all of this adds to the overall design of the car.

ABS, EBD and Brake assist are standard on all variants and 3 airbags are standard on all variants of the 2.4 litre manual gearbox option. 2.8 litre automatic gearbox equipped engine gets 7 airbags along with ABS, EBD and Brake Assist.

Toyota Innova Crysta Engine And Specification
The MPV comes with a 2.4l, 4-cylinder, diesel engine that makes 150 PS @ 3400 RPM and 343 Nm of torque @ 1400 RPM. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. Sadly, no six-speed manual no option yet. A 2.7 litre engine with automatic gearbox is also made available, which makes 175 PS and 360 Nm of torque.

The numbers haven’t been quoted by the company. Expect the numbers to be around 15.10 km/l for 2.4 and 14.29 km/l for 2.7 litre as claimed numbers and it should deliver 10-11 km/l in the city and more on the highway.
