2017 Suzuki Gixxer Dual-tone Alloy Wheels is a minor upgrade to the bike cosmetically to make sure it stays relevant in the upcoming festive season

The Japanese Motorcycle Maker Suzuki India has come up with a update for their jazzy 150 cc bike, the Gixxer. The motorcycle was updated with a set of black alloy wheels in the month of February this year. Now the bike has been spotted with new set of dual-tone alloy wheels at dealership in Bengaluru.

The updated model spotted carries a dual tone paint scheme of Pearl Mira red with Glass Sparkle Black and alloy wheels also have the same color combination. The company itself and not the dealerships has taken decision to offer the dual-tone alloy wheels to the customers.

The dual-tone alloy wheel option comes with only the Dual-disc variant. The latest updated model is priced at Rs. 90,000 (ex-showroom). Another colors available for the 2017 Gixxer model are Metallic Triton Blue and Glass Sparkle Black with the same Blue and Black alloy wheel combo.

Power to the Gixxer is supplied by a 155 cc,single cylinder, two valves, 4-stroke, air-cooled petrol engine. The engine is capable of generating maximum power output of 14.8 bhp at 8,000 rpm and peak torque of 14 Nm at 6,000 rpm. The motorcycle comes with telescopic suspension at the front and mono-suspension at the rear.

As part of 2017 upgrade the Gixxer gets new graphics on the fuel tank which denote the name of the bike in quite a bold and sporty font which is continued to the side panel connected to the fuel tank. The updated version gets a clear lens indicator placed at the end of the tail and a stylish LED tail light equipped at the rear.

The Gixxer rear-disc brake variant is offered in three color options at present- Pearl Mira Red, Metallic Triton Blue and Glass Sparkle Black. Apart form this the Glass Sparkle Black also comes in the rear drum brake variant. The Gixxer faces competition from bikes like Yamaha FZs, Honda CB Hornet 160 and the latest Pulsar 160 NS.
