2017 Verna Sales Soar High as the price are introductory for first 20,000 customers and the host of features included in this segment is higher than its rivals
In 1998 the South Korean car manufacturer Hyundai debut in India with their successful model Santro with a hope to beat the dominating market of Maruti Suzuki and Tata in their passenger car segment and with no negative mark Santro successfully found its way between Maruti’s WagonR and Tata’s Indica. And by keeping the flag up, the newly launched Verna proves the Hyundai domain till date, in the market.
As the SIAM (Society of India Automobile Manufacturers) data shows that in sedan segment Verna has flashed the sale graph to 6,054 units in September 2017 leaving behind India’s loved sedan Honda City which managed 6,010 units of sell and the India’s beloved car company Maruti Suzuki stands third with their sedan Ciaz, selling 5,603 units.

Nature inspired, fluidic design of previous Verna was also successful but the 2017 model has much cleaner lines and more appealing chisel design which helped the company to raise their sale with 17.4 percent compared to the same month last year. As Compared to its rival Verna provide minimum aerodynamic drag behind the wheel.
The all-new K2 platform gives 50 percent high strength steel to the car, intrinsically for more rigidity and addition of 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors/camera, traction control, electronic stability control and vehicle stability management assure safety to all. Verna gets 1.6L dual VTVT Petrol and 1.6L U2 Common rail technology VGT diesel engine under the hood producing 123 PS at 6400 rpm from the petrol motor which generates a maximum torque of 151 Nm @ 4850 rpm. And the diesel motor churns out 128 PS power @ 4000 rpm and 260 Nm torque @ 1500-3,000 rpm.
The 2017 Verna is smartly priced between Rs. 8 Lakhs to Rs. 13 Lakhs, 2017 Verna hosts features like the ventilated front seat, projector fog lamps, lane changing indicators, automatic boot opening, auto link connectivity and other more futuristic features which makes the car more attractive than its rivals.
