Iconic Italian motorcycle maker MV Agusta has revealed the 2022 Supeveloce Ago for the global markets. The MV Agusta Superveloce is one of the most beautiful motorcycles on sale currently and the latest iteration further makes it a highly desirable offering. Making the 2022 Superveloce Ago special is the fact that the bike has been created to pay tribute to Giacomo Agostini, an Italian motorcycle racer who won 15 world championships and bagged 311 Grand Prix wins and 10 Isle of Man TT wins in his career. And yes, this does make him one of the all-time greatest riders of MotoGP.

That’s why MV Agusta will be restricting production of the 2022 MV Agusta Superveloce Ago to only 311 units. The limited edition offering will come with special graphics in yellow over the red and silver paint scheme. Out of the total 311, the first 15 will be dedicated to the Agostini’s world titles and will have unique placards on their fuel tank. There will also be a different fuel filler cap with Agostini’s signature.

On the parts front, the 2022 MV Agusta Superveloce Ago gets Ohlins suspension with a steering damper, forged and aluminium top triple clamp. The bodywork is made up of carbon fibre with a taller windscreen and a livery that gives a borrows from the winning colours of Ago’s MV Agusta racing machines.

Power on the 2022 MV Agusta Superveloce Ago comes from the 798cc, three-cylinder engine that belts out 147Ps at 13,000RPM and 88Nm at 10,100RPM. It’s paired with a 6-speed gearbox and also gets a bi-directional quick-shifter. The motorcycle features four engine maps and 8-level traction control.

Buyers can also opt for a fee dedicated racing kit that includes an Arrow exhaust, control unit with a racing map. The asymmetrical 2-1 pipe routing on each side of the bike will get the “Ago” rock screen at the tip. There’s also the
dedicated motorcycle cover, passenger seat cover with Alcantara pad, red handgrips and more. The racing kit boosts power to 151PS.

The MV Agusta Superveloce is already a stunning motorcycle and the new Ago only makes those cravings stronger. It’s not exactly reasonably expensive though and comes with a hefty price tag of 32,100 Euros or about Rs. 28 lakh. Too bad we don’t have an official distribution partner for MV Agusta in India right now.
