2023 Tata Nexon facelift is finally launched. The pricing makes the Nexon go a level higher as there is a lot of new on offer right from the base variants. The Official bookings commenced on 4 September 2023. 2023 Tata Nexon will be available in four variants such as the Smart, Pure, Creative and Fearless.

2023 Tata Nexon design cues are based on the Curvv concept. 2023 Tata Nexon facelift fascia features a slim grille and a split-headlamp design reminds of the Hyryder. 2023 Tata Nexon facelift gets new L-shaped LED daytime running lights, while the main headlamp clusters are positioned, lower, on the front bumper. Tata Motors has also reworked the rear design, giving the Nexon a new set of LED tail lights connected by an LED light bar and new dual-tone alloy wheels taking inspiration from the electric car alloys. The multiple color options are gone as the side profile and other aspects are now a single tone color unlike the original car.

2023 Tata Nexon interior also draws inspiration from the Curvv concept. The dashboard looks simple and slab like, which lends it a contemporary look. There is a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system in the centre and a new HVAC system with haptic touch switches like the Virtus/Taigun. The 2023 Tata Nexon facelift also gets an all-new 2-spoke steering wheel, which seems a new trend now seen on the Skoda-VW twins. The illuminated Tata logo in the centre and a digital instrument console transform the cabin. 2023 Tata Nexon new features include a 360-degree camera, a wireless charger, ventilated front seats, an air purifier and connected car tech. All of this was seen on limited edition models launched throughout 2021-2022.

The 2023 Tata Nexon surprisingly will be available with the same old a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 118 BHP and 170 Nm. 2023 Tata Nexon facelift offers four transmission options – a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed AMT and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic with paddle shifters. We think 5-speed manual is for base variants only.

2023 Tata Nexon also retains the 1.5-litre diesel engine. It will be offered with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed AMT only. A DCT with the diesel would have been great premimum addition, but it isn’t here.

The Nexon has undergone a modernization process to meet the stringent GNCAP 2022 safety protocols, incorporating structural enhancements. It offers an ultimate peace of mind with features that are standard like 6 airbags, Electronic Stability Control, 3-point rear seatbelts with occupant detection, passenger airbag deactivation switch and ISOFIX Child seats. The high definition 360-degree, surround-view system, front parking sensors, and a blind-view monitor, allows timely alerts for vigilant drive. It is also equipped with E-call, that triggers round-the-clock assistance, in case of an emergency, and B-call assistance, at anytime, to address a car breakdown. Variant wise pricing and feature list will be revealed soon. Stay tuned for more.
