Toyota Kirloskar Motor has now also decided to sell top-end variants of the Innova Crysta after silently announcing the prices of the lower variants last month. Toyota’s decision to sell Crysta and Hycross at the same time to fleet and personal buyers is squarely aimed at gaining higher volumes. Something it has tasted recently, ever since its partnership with Maruti for smaller vehicles. The Innova Crysta has been doing well enough, but not in the grandeur fashion as before. Toyota also aims to launch more vehicles on the Hycross platform which will include a full-size SUV. The highlight of any vehicle now will be a hybrid powertrain.
When it comes to the powertrain, the petrol option is gone from the Crysta, and the rumoured CNG will not make it to the Crysta, but might come to the Hycross non-hybrid variant. Coming back to the Innova Crysta top-end variants. Announced, today, are the prices of the top two grades (ZX & VX) of the New Innova Crysta. The vehicle comes with an enhanced front fascia that has been designed keeping in mind the specific preferences of prospective customers. A large chrome grille should satisfy this segment of consumers.
