2025 Mahindra XUV 500 will come back as we all knew all along. The manufacturer has announced the new seven-seater SUV to be the XUV 700 in 2021. The XUV 500 will be sold side by side in 2025 as a 5-seater. A 7-seater XUV 500 could be a possibility as well within the same wheelbase. 2025 Mahindra XUV 500 will be shorter in dimension than the XUV 700 and even the previous XUV 500 to take on likes of mid-size SUV’s.

2025 Mahindra XUV 500 Chassis, suspension, and brakes

The XUV 500 is a full-size premium SUV and it is a monocoque based chassis. Car-like behaviour, suspension and all wheels disc brakes will be offered with the car.

Mahindra XUV 500 Interior and Features

The Mahindra XUV 500 will come with three rows making it a seven-seater SUV on a few variants. The cabin will be spacious and will come equipped with many high end features making it a luxurious car. Mahindra will be offering this SUV with powered and ventilated seats. It will be equipped with a 12.0-inch touchscreen infotainment and instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control and many more features such as wireless Android Auto and Apple Carplay.

Mahindra XUV 500 Price and Launch

As of now, there is no clarification on when will this SUV be launched in the Indian market. The launch just before Diwali is rumoured to be on the cards.

Mahindra XUV 500 Engine And Specification

Powering the Mahindra XUV 700 will be a 1.5 litre BS6 diesel motors which are coupled with the six-speed automatic gearbox. This mill can produce 110 bhp of power and 300Nm of twist. There will be an option of an all-new 2-litre turbocharged petrol motor that produces 160 bhp of power and 350Nm of torque.

Mahindra XUV 500 Safety Features

In terms of safety, this SUV will come loaded with eight airbags, ADAS, ABS, EBD, traction control, roll over mitigation, ESP and much more.

Mahindra XUV 500 Competition

Once launched it will compete for head-on with the Tata Curvv, Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, Citroen C3 Aircross, Renault Duster, Nissan Kicks, Toyota UC Hyryder and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara.
