The new Golf GTI clearly shows that this Volkswagen is also at home on the race track. The 2025 Golf GTI continues to deliver the driving experience customers expect, but with a fresh look and enhanced technology. Exterior changes include new headlights and front bumper, an illuminated logo, and a standard lightbar. Two new colors, Alpine Silver Metallic and Slate Blue Metallic, join the palette, complemented by a bold new 19-inch aluminum-alloy wheel design for the top-trim Golf GTI Autobahn.
The interior gets a significant upgrade, featuring a new, freestanding 12.9-inch touchscreen. The system boasts the latest operating functions, shared with the ID. Buzz and 2024 ID.4, offering faster software and a more intuitive layout. Additionally, hard buttons replace the haptic switchgear on the steering wheel for improved functionality.
The 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder TSI® engine produces 241 horsepower and is now mated only with a 7-speed DSG® dual-clutch automatic transmission.
Features include standard navigation, Dynamic Road Sign Display, and wireless App-Connect. IQ.DRIVE driver assistance technology remains standard across the board, consisting of Travel Assist (semi-automated driving assistance); Front Assist (Forward Collision Warning and Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Monitoring); Active Side Assist (Blind Spot Monitor); Rear Traffic Alert; Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) Stop and Go; Lane Assist (Lane Keeping System); and Emergency Assist (semi-automated vehicle assistance in a medical emergency). We will see what comes to India.
