Ducati has unveiled the 2027 Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak, featuring a updated livery designed by Centro Stile Ducati and Drudi Performance. Inspired by the Desmosedici GP and Panigale V4 R machines from Ducati’s official MotoGP and Superbike World Championship teams, the new graphic scheme utilizes specific color combinations and surface treatments. The motorcycle incorporates carbon-fiber components, a street-legal titanium Akrapovič silencer, a low smoked windscreen, gold-anodized Öhlins fork sliders, a V4 logo on the seat, and a Ducati Corse badge on the front beak.
Positioned as a high-performance crossover derived from the Multistrada 1200 concept, the bike features a single-sided swingarm, long-travel suspension, protective bodywork, ergonomic seating, and luggage mounting capabilities. The chassis includes a 17-inch front wheel, 5-spoke forged aluminum Marchesini wheels, and Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV sports-touring tires (120/70 front and 190/55-17 rear). It utilizes an Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 semi-active electronic suspension system with event-based logic, alongside an Electronic Combined Braking System linked to Bosch-Brembo Cornering ABS with dual 330 mm front discs and Brembo Stylema calipers.
Powering the model is a 1,158 cc V4 Granturismo engine equipped with a counter-rotating crankshaft and Extended Cylinder Deactivation. The engine produces 170 hp at 10,750 rpm and 124 Nm of torque at 9,000 rpm, with valve clearance check intervals set at 60,000 km. Electronics include five Riding Modes (Race, Sport, Touring, Urban, and Wet), four Power Modes, Ducati Vehicle Observer, Wheelie Control, Traction Control, Engine Brake Control, Quick Shift Up & Down, Vehicle Hold Control, and a dedicated Race map strategy for the rev limiter and throttle response. Ergonomic changes from the standard Multistrada V4 include higher and further-back footpegs alongside a lower, narrower handlebar.
The safety and technology suit includes standard front and rear radar enabling Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Detection, and Forward Collision Warning. Additional features consist of an aluminum monocoque frame, a 6.5-inch full-color TFT dashboard with Ducati Connect, Hands-Free ignition, Full-LED lighting with Ducati Cornering Lights, and a Ducati Brake Light EVO system. The motorcycle will be available in India starting next year.
