Mercedes-Benz today kick-started the Fiscal 25-26 with launch of the Mercedes-Benz GLS AMG Line. Something we are eagerly and keenly waiting to test since its global reveal.
The new Mercedes-Benz GLS 4MATIC AMG Line is a sporty and expressive iteration of Mercedes-Benz’s most successful ‘Large Size Luxury SUV’, the GLS, with more than 16000 units on Indian roads. The GLS AMG Line has an unparalleled and commanding road presence underlining dominance through design, which is inspired from the G-Class. The GLS AMG Line has Mercedes-AMG inspired styling with AMG front apron, sporty and distinctive exterior elements and equally sporty interiors appointments, trims and elements.
The independent AMG styling makes the GLS visually closer to the models from Mercedes-AMG. Interior elements like multifunction sports steering wheel in nappa leather and the AMG sports pedals in brushed stainless steel reinforces the expressive impression. The luxury SUV’s larger brake system supports a sporty ride.
AMG front aprons, sporty, distinctive air inlets at the front, Front and rear wing flares painted in the vehicle colour AMG side sill panels painted in vehicle colour. Air outlets on the rear wings, AMG rear apron with diffuser-look insert in black and trim strip in chrome, Brake system features larger perforated brake discs at the front axle & brake calipers with “Mercedes-Benz” lettering.
Multifunction sport steering wheel in nappa leather
Finish in black with black topstitching in 3-twin-spoke design. Flattened bottom section perforated in the handle area with touch control panels and gearshift paddles. The Airbag cover is in nappa leather and the steering wheel trim is in silver chrome.
The AMG sports pedals are made of brushed stainless steel with black rubber studs. The black floor mats with “AMG” lettering blend harmoniously with the interior design.
With AMG Night Package the GLS AMG Line has expressive bold, black design elements enhancing the exterior of the SUV. The highlights of the Night Package include the exterior mirror housings and the shoulder line and window line trim strips. The roof rails feature an elegant matte black finish.
A 21-inch AMG light-alloy wheels complete the sporty and distinctly individual appearance. The radiator grille has 4 slats in dark chrome and design elements in high-gloss black. There is a trim strip in the AMG front apron as well in the rear apron.
